It was revealed after a period where the Prophet (\ufdfa) had not received revelation for some time. It is a time of activity and seeking livelihood. The light during this period is soothing and refreshing, unlike the scorching and harsh heat of noon.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-fa2ba05-2f2fee4 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"fa2ba05\"><strong>Verse 2:<\/strong><br><br><strong>\u0648\u064e\u0671\u0644\u0651\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0644\u0650 \u0625\u0650\u0630\u064e\u0627 \u0633\u064e\u062c\u064e\u0649\u0670<br><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2c31413 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2c31413\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>And [by] the night when it covers with darkness,\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-205d067-fa5a4ef e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"205d067\">The word <strong>Saja (\u0633\u062c\u0649)<\/strong> carries three profound meanings:<br><br>1. <strong>Stillness:<\/strong> Like a calm ocean without waves; a state of complete silence and lack of motion. (<em>Saja al-bahru<\/em> \u2013 The sea became calm).<br><br>2. <strong>Cessation:<\/strong> When something ongoing finally comes to a stop.<br><br>3. <strong>Motionlessness:<\/strong> Used to describe the total immobility of a corpse (<em>Saja al-mayyit<\/em>).<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-74213d2-d6f60ec e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"74213d2\"><strong id=\"e-mp2g42q6-4fbk484\">Reflections on the Night:<\/strong><br>The night is a time of rest and \"re-tuning\" the mind and body. Just as the night follows the day to provide rest, the pause in revelation was not abandonment; it was a \"night-like\" period of rest for the Prophet (\ufdfa) to prepare his soul for the heavy weight of future revelations.<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g42q6-7cvketw\">Reflections on the Darkness:<\/strong><br>Just as a dark night is inevitably followed by a bright day, neither difficulty nor ease is permanent. They are both temporary states, alternating by the wisdom of Allah (swt). This serves as a reminder that no matter how \"dark\" a situation may feel, the \"morning brightness\" is always on the horizon.<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g42q6-t2bnm0w\">The Weight of Revelation:<\/strong><br>Narrated Zaid bin Thabit:\u201cSo Allah revealed to his Apostle while his thigh was on my thigh, and his thigh became so heavy that I was afraid it might fracture my thigh.\u201d&nbsp;<br>Sahih al-Bukhari 4592<br><br>Narrated by Aisha (ra):(the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Messenger (\ufdfa) \"O Allah's Messenger (\ufdfa)! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?\" Allah's Messenger (\ufdfa) replied, \"Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says.\" 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet (\ufdfa) being inspired divinely on a very cold day and noticed the sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).<br>Sahih al-Bukhari 2<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g42q7-zg1jsvu\">He (saw) used to complain to Jibreel (as) when he would take sometimes to come back.<\/strong><br><br>Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:The Prophet (\ufdfa) said to Jibril (Gabriel), \"What prevents you from visiting us more frequently?\" Thereupon was revealed the Ayah: \"(The angels say:) 'And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Rubb. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two\". Always think positively of Him (swt).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-441ed2a-221fba0 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"441ed2a\">Verse 4: <br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0644\u0652\u0640\u0654\u064e\u0627\u062e\u0650\u0631\u064e\u0629\u064f \u062e\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0631\u064c\u06ed \u0644\u0651\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0645\u0650\u0646\u064e \u0671\u0644\u0652\u0623\u064f\u0648\u0644\u064e\u0649\u0670<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7254e71 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7254e71\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201cAnd the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life].\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-e1f6484-64b27dc e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"e1f6484\">Scholars interpret \"The Later\" (<em>al-Akhirah<\/em>) and \"The First\" (<em>al-Ula<\/em>) in several ways:<br><br>1. <strong>The Afterlife vs. This Life:<\/strong> The rewards of Heaven are superior to worldly trials.<br><br>2. <strong>Future vs. Present:<\/strong> The end of your mission will be more successful than its difficult beginning.<br><br>3. <strong>Legacy:<\/strong> The honor given to his name in the <em>Adhan<\/em> and the love of his <em>Ummah<\/em> throughout time.<br><br>4. <strong>Specific Stations:<\/strong> The <em>Maqama al-Mahmud<\/em> (the Praiseworthy Station), the <em>Hawd al-Kawthar<\/em>, and the power of intercession.<br><br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-028a84e-c027ffc e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"028a84e\"><strong id=\"e-mp2g8wu7-yrots9f\"><em id=\"e-mp2g8wu7-cxs9il5\">Personal Reflection: The Nature of Trial<\/em><\/strong><br><br>The Prophet (\ufdfa) faced immense hardship and abuse during his mission. This serves as a reminder that anyone who walks the path of Allah (swt) will encounter difficulties. However, these trials are <strong id=\"e-mp2g8wu7-x6ki0vt\">temporary<\/strong>. Just as the night must give way to the morning, the hardships of this life are fleeting, while the ease and rewards of the Hereafter are everlasting.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-c438394-a68bf5c e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"c438394\">Verse 5: <br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0633\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0641\u064e \u064a\u064f\u0639\u0652\u0637\u0650\u064a\u0643\u064e \u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u064f\u0643\u064e \u0641\u064e\u062a\u064e\u0631\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0649\u0670\u0653<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3351785 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3351785\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p>\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\"><em>And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-04a7005-c3be255 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"04a7005\"><strong id=\"e-mp2g9bxc-44da9sk\">La (\u0644\u064e):<\/strong> An emphasis meaning \"surely, certainly.\"<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-qeuj0u1\">\u0633<\/strong> : near future<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-aul06up\">Sawfa (\u0633\u064e\u0648\u0652\u0641\u064e):<\/strong> more distant future<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-i8h2z4w\">The Unnamed Gift:<\/strong> Allah does not specify <em id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-cohzg35\">what<\/em> He will give. This implies the gift is so vast and grand it cannot be limited by words.<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-1nugiqe\">Fa (\u0641\u0640):<\/strong> Implies a sequence, the Prophet (\ufdfa) will continue to receive until he is fully satisfied with Allah\u2019s judgment, the success of his followers, and the forgiveness of his <em id=\"e-mp2g9bxd-4popcir\">Ummah<\/em>.<br><br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6efcd27 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6efcd27\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Verse 6\u20138: The Three Favours<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-72263bf-7a4de57 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"72263bf\">Allah (saw) reminds the Prophet (\ufdfa) of how He cared for him during three specific crises:<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-50041f4-36d2ba2 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"50041f4\">Verset 6:<br><br><strong>\u0623\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0645\u0652 \u064a\u064e\u062c\u0650\u062f\u0652\u0643\u064e \u064a\u064e\u062a\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064b\u06ed\u0627 \u0641\u064e\u0640\u0654\u064e\u0627\u0648\u064e\u0649\u0670<\/strong><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cc5c151 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cc5c151\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-3a30ef1-088dbb3 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"3a30ef1\"><strong>Crisis :<\/strong> Orphanhood (<em>Yatim<\/em>)<br><br><strong>Allah's Solution : <\/strong>Refuge: Allah (swt) provided security through his grandfather and uncle.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-a2e98fb-f172609 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"a2e98fb\">Verset 7:<br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0648\u064e\u062c\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0636\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0644\u0651\u064b\u06ed\u0627 \u0641\u064e\u0647\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0649\u0670<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b35512b elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b35512b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>And He found you lost and guided [you],\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-1bb012c-4f76ad2 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"1bb012c\"><strong>Crisis :<\/strong> <strong>\u0636\u0627\u0644 : misled<\/strong><br>Being Lost (<em>Dall<\/em>)<br><br><strong>Allah's Solution : <\/strong>However, in this context, it does not mean 'misguided.' Rather, the Prophet (\ufdfa) was spiritually seeking; he was deeply concerned and perplexed about how to guide his people. He witnessed the grave injustices in Makkah, the burying of infant girls, tribal warfare, and dishonest business dealings, and felt a deep inner turmoil because he did not yet know how to fix these societal evils until the revelation began.<br><br><strong>Guidance:<\/strong> He was confused by the darkness of Jahiliyyah; Allah (swt) gave him the Qur'an.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-813fc32-01adebe e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"813fc32\">Verset 8:<br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0648\u064e\u062c\u064e\u062f\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0639\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0626\u0650\u0644\u064b\u06ed\u0627 \u0641\u064e\u0623\u064e\u063a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0649\u0670<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d91cfd elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6d91cfd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-268896d-f5b97f9 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"268896d\"><strong>Crisis :<\/strong> <strong>\u0639\u0627\u0621\u0644 : <\/strong>poor, needy, indigent, in desperate need, over burden with financial responsability<br>Poverty (<em>'Aila<\/em>)<br><br><strong>\u063a\u0646\u064a :<\/strong> to be free from want, to be rich<br><br><strong>\u0623\u064e\u063a\u0652\u0646\u064e\u0649\u0670 : <\/strong>enriched, sufficed, made rich<br><br><strong>Allah's Solution : Regarding these states, Allah (swt) found you:<\/strong><br>In <strong>financial difficulty<\/strong>, as his (saw) uncle Abu Talib was not a wealthy man.<br><br><strong>Searching for clarity<\/strong> while witnessing the injustice and corruption happening around you.<br><br><strong>Enrichment:<\/strong> Allah (swt) granted him self-sufficiency through Khadija (ra) and later through victory.<br><br><br><strong><em>Personal<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>Reflection on Resilience and Hardship :<\/em><\/strong><br><br>When we are going through desperate times, we should remember how Allah (swt) was there for us during our lowest moments in the past. The very fact that those moments are now \"history\" is living proof that He brought you through them. If He sustained you then, He will surely bring you through this, too.<br><br><br><strong>The Two Reactions to Hardship:<\/strong> Poverty, loneliness, and hardship act as a furnace. <br>Depending on the heart's state, they produce two different outcomes:<br><br>1. <strong>Hardening:<\/strong> The hardship causes one to become bitter, resentful, or angry with Allah (swt).<br><br>2. <strong>Softening:<\/strong> The hardship breaks down the ego, making the heart more tender and causing the soul to turn back to Allah (swt) in total reliance (<em>Tawakkul<\/em>).<br><br><strong>The Purpose of the Trial:<\/strong> Every hardship exists for a reason; it is a necessary part of your journey designed to <strong>shape and refine you<\/strong>. Just as the Prophet (\ufdfa) was shaped by his early trials to lead an entire nation, our trials prepare us for the roles Allah (swt) has destined for us.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a0a1761 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"a0a1761\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Three Commands in Surah Ad-Duha <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-528cd92-bcdf23a e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"528cd92\"><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-70778f4-77fe234 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"70778f4\"><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-f5e0159-8a80608 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"f5e0159\">Verset 9:<br><br>\u0641\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0671\u0644\u0652\u064a\u064e\u062a\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0642\u0652\u0647\u064e\u0631\u0652<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46fc566 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"46fc566\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him].\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-3976014-8d20ee8 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"3976014\">Because Allah helped you in your need, you must now help others in theirs:<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g7khk-duz0fho\">Regarding the Orphan :<\/strong> <em id=\"e-mp2g7khk-4d5t5xs\">Do not oppress (la taqhar).<\/em> <br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2g7khk-xazmk55\">Qahar<\/strong> is to use power roughly against the vulnerable. Do not intimidate or overwhelm them; handle them with the delicacy they deserve.This can be done emotionally or physically, through harsh words, guilt-tripping, or accusations. It can even be conveyed through a mere look or a dismissive gesture.<br><br>Therefore, do not make the orphan feel worthless, and do not leave them in a state of despair. While these practices were common during the time of <em id=\"e-mp2g7khk-s68i59e\">Jahiliyyah<\/em>, unfortunately, they still persist in some parts of the world today.<br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-40c16dc-e8de5e7 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"40c16dc\">Verset 10:<br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0671\u0644\u0633\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0653\u0626\u0650\u0644\u064e \u0641\u064e\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0647\u064e\u0631\u0652<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e8da53 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7e8da53\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him].\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-673c1ef-ce20a18 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"673c1ef\"><strong>Regarding the Petitioner :<\/strong> <em>Do not repel (la tanhar).<\/em> <br><br><strong>Tanhar<\/strong> means to scold or drive away harshly like a rushing river.When shouting at a person causes them to withdraw from the conversation.<br><br><strong>\u0644\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064e\u0646\u0652\u0647\u064e\u0631\u0652<\/strong>: Do not repel them, dismiss them harshly, or speak to them with rebuke.This applies to both the beggar asking for money and the student asking for knowledge. Never make someone feel stupid for wanting to learn.<br><br>Example: When someone with limited knowledge asks a question that seems obvious to you, and you think, 'How could they not know the answer to this?<br><br><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-76f413a-cef18d2 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"76f413a\">Verset 11:<br><br>\u0648\u064e\u0623\u064e\u0645\u0651\u064e\u0627 \u0628\u0650\u0646\u0650\u0639\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0629\u0650 \u0631\u064e\u0628\u0651\u0650\u0643\u064e \u0641\u064e\u062d\u064e\u062f\u0651\u0650\u062b<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c3aab9c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c3aab9c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"western\"><p><span style=\"font-family: Playfair;\">\u201c<em>But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it].\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-0a91201-f1dc86e e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"0a91201\"><strong>Regarding the Favors :<\/strong> <em>Report\/Proclaim.<\/em> <br>Talk about Allah\u2019s blessings.<br><br><strong>\u0646\u0639\u0645 :\u0628\u0650\u0646\u0650\u0639\u0652\u0645\u064e\u0629\u0650 <\/strong>: delight, ease, comfort<br><br><strong>\u062d\u062f\u062b\u0651 : \u062d\u064e\u062f\u0651\u0650\u062b<\/strong> : to tell, to narrate, to report<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-8ca68bc-11636bf e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"8ca68bc\"><br><strong id=\"e-mp2gobs3-rl8o1gc\"><em id=\"e-mp2gobs3-1i1u9la\">Personal Reflection: The Nature of Trial &amp; Gratitude<\/em><\/strong><br><br>The Prophet (\ufdfa) faced immense hardship and abuse during his mission. This serves as a reminder that anyone who walks the path of Allah (swt) will encounter difficulties. However, these trials are <strong id=\"e-mp2gobs3-mfbftlp\">temporary<\/strong>. Just as the night must give way to the morning, the hardships of this life are fleeting, while the ease and rewards of the Hereafter are everlasting.<br><br><strong id=\"e-mp2gobs3-4lbq4ci\">Practicing Gratitude in Hardship:<\/strong> In moments of distress, we should remind ourselves of the countless blessings we still possess. Even something we consider small, like a <strong id=\"e-mp2gobs3-rwkwz09\">pair of shoes <\/strong>is a favours from Allah (swt). Somewhere in the world, there are people who do not have even that. By acknowledging these \"small\" favours, we find the strength to endure our larger trials.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"e-de3ea2f-5f30389 e-paragraph-base\" data-interaction-id=\"de3ea2f\"><br><strong id=\"e-mp2gjmu6-er1uae9\">The Roadmap for Hope:&nbsp;<\/strong>When you openly share how Allah (swt) navigated you through your own \"crises\", your lowest and most uncertain moments, you do more than just recount history; you provide a roadmap of hope and inspiration for others.
